As you are probably aware Data Protection regulations are changing and with effect from 25th May 2018 the current Data Protection Act is being enhanced by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In a nutshell what this means for ELGC is that we must advise our members what personal information we hold, what we use your personal data for and that we have a legitimate interest for processing this information. To remind you we collect limited personal data from our members when they join the club which is;
•name
•home address
•contact telephone numbers (home and mobile)
•email address and if applicable
•CDH number
•Handicap
•Previous/current golf club
