Entering and playing in competitions must be structured and controlled to ensure conditions are met for handicap management, in addition to ensuring that our members enjoy fair and satisfactory games. As a member you need to become familiar with the Process of entering competitions, and with the Rules you must follow.

Follow the steps in the list below to understand how you enter, play, record results and win prizes in our competitions.

This process applies to all competitions, although there are slight variations to bear in mind for our mid-week competitions and knockout matches. For those interested in representing the club, we play in a variety of external matches, which have their own rules and information here.

Safety Guidance

All members should be aware of their responsibility to ensure any form of dangerous play is avoided. Conditions that increase the risk to playing golf safely must also be understood and taken seriously by our members.

Golf venues of course have a responsibility to their customers too, and will expect players to follow all their local safety rules without exception.

Please read and understand the guidance on safety regarding adverse weather conditions.

Finally, in addition to our rules we expect all players to abide by our Playing Etiquette.
